ANIMA
UNI / CONCEPT / VISID
Anima is my proposal for an Aberdeen Street Festival – celebrating local achievement, heritage, and people. The concept responds to the increasing number of empty shopfronts in the city centre, imagining how home local pride could be rejuvinated.

The Blobs
One of the key ideas behind the campaign was a series of light-up ‘blob’ installations. The fluidity would contrast against Aberdeen’s buildings, and draw attention towards its unique architecture. It could also double as a trail activity, and increase excitement on the lead up to the weekend.

The Anima
Eventually, the blobs evolved into “the Anima”, the beating heart and soul of the city. This developed into a concept for a central installation – where the ball of energy would be brought to life using a holographic illusion.
